Jason GaNung, Owner
Ever since Jason was a child, from the first time he could remember walking into his family's restaurant, he knew the restaurant business was the path he wanted to follow.
Jason GaNung grew up learning all aspects of his family's New York City restaurant business, which has a portfolio of some of the New York Times most award winning and iconic restaurants in New York City in the last 40 years.Jason learned all about the restaurant business working with his family and moved on to run some of the most successful NYC restaurants and lounges.
As an accomplished professional in the hospitality industry, Jason is proficient in all front and back of house operations, as well as entertainment operations. Patrons are guaranteed to have a great time at Panama Pizzeria, their food and dining experience will be sure to far exceed their expectations.
Joseph Martinez, Executive Chef
Chef Joseph Martinez has worked in the Panama Pizzeria organization for a decade. Originally from Philadelphia, he received his culinary training at the American Culinary Institute. He went on to be the Chef at the Prestigious Hotel Hershey in Pennsylvania.
Chef Martinez has been awarded many culinary awards with accolades including : First place in Pocono Ice Carving Expo; first place Tallow Sculpture of Indian shooting an arrow at the moon, Javits Center, New York City; first place 10 times at the food show competition; first place state champion at Chili Contest, Mount Pocono, Pa. Chef Martinez brings nightly dinner specials with cuisine from around the world. Stop in and try his cooking, you"ll enjoy every bite including his home-made desserts!
